Bourne round glasses in cream from the William Morris Gallery Collection is a lovely, wide-eyed shape with cream acetate highlights on the brow. The metal is a matt old gold colour and the inside of the temples carry the Bourne design, while the outside is cream. A matching magnetic folding case and cloth complete the package.
Bourne (c. 1905) was designed as a floral tribute to the great artist and craftsman, William Morris (1834-1896) by his protégée and colleague, John Henry Dearle.
