This flat-folding glasses case with matching polishing cloth is from 'The Gallery Collection' a joint collaboration with William Morris, London, a leading British independent eyewear firm and The William Morris Gallery, the museum and home of the famous designer.
William Morris (1834-1896), artist and craftsman, died just before The Golden Lily (1897) design was published. One of the many legacies he left the world of design.
