Frida's original gold sunglasses in the Frida Kahlo Museum, Mexico
These glasses are based on the original gold frames which featured in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s 2018 exhibition: Frida Kahlo - Making Her Self Up.
They are being produced as a limited edition of 500 pieces so not just a pair of very wearable glasses, but also a collectible piece of contemporary art.
Each pair of glasses will come with a floral folding case inspired by the artist’s work and Mexican heritage (choose from the Fuchsia or Marigold designs), a matching polishing cloth, together with an individually numbered certificate. These cases can also be bought separately.
