Welcome to all Costume Designers!

RETRO PEEPERS specialises in supplying frames and glasses for the entertainment  industry and we offer historical research for all types of theatrical and film productions, to ensure your period costumes are perfectly coordinated with authentic spectacles.

We have a fabulous trove of original vintage frames (not shown on the website), going back to the early part of the 20th century, together with our great range of economically-priced reproduction frames, which faithfully mimic classic designs. Check these out on the site and try filtering your search by 'era' to get a feel for what we have. You can buy frames outright, or hire them by the week if you prefer.

We also have access to the private archives of a number of antiquarian spectacle collectors and can provide a search and procurement service for vintage frames, if you need something really unusual or special.

We also offer a high-end glazing service for any of our frames (both vintage and reproduction) so that performers can have quality lenses, precision-cut to their own prescriptions if required.

Just call us on +44208 451 7780 or email us at contact@retropeepers.com with your requirements. Many thanks, Lauretta and Caroline
